Stake.us World KO Championship Details
The Stake.us World KO Championship is a 23-day poker event, with a prize pot stretching to over one million Stake Cash (equivalent to Sweeps Coins and redeemable as real world prizes). There will be lots of games happening throughout including Bye Day Specials, where the prize pot is boosted by World Cup goals, daily knockout tournaments and a Main Event where only the top players will progress. Dates
Events will run every day between June 28th-July 20th 2026. Don’t worry about missing the World Cup though, as there won’t be any games running while soccer matches are live.
There are various events running throughout this Championship, all with a knockout format. Events include:
- Bye Day Specials – there’ll be five headline tournaments running on July 8th, 12th, 13th, 16th and 17th (the Soccer World Cup rest days).
- Daily knockouts – join in poker games every day including Mystery Bounties and Super Terminators, plus Big Bounty Hunters, PKOs and Speed Run PKOs.
- Main Event – a phased tournament where only the top 15% will advance through each round. Battle your way through and you could reach the finale on July 20th.
Prize pools
There’s a guaranteed one million Stake Cash in prizes up for grabs throughout this series. This breaks down into:
- Bye Day Specials – each of the five Bye Day Specials will have 135,000-146,000 SC prize pools, growing by 500 SC for every goal scored in the World Cup goal. Given that this is the highest scoring World Cup so far (134 goals and counting), that’s a lot of added SC! Entry into Bye Day Specials is 30 SC.
- Mystery Bounty Event – 100,000 SC prize pool (entry is 20 SC).
- Daily Mystery Bounties and Super Terminators – 10,000 SC daily prize pool (entry begins at 5 SC).
